We’re Here. We’re Operating.
Sizwe Hosmed is entering an important new chapter. As part of our journey to strengthen the Scheme and enhance the experience we deliver to our members and stakeholders, we are transitioning to self-administration effective 1 August 2026.
This is an important step in the evolution of Sizwe Hosmed and an opportunity to take greater ownership of the way we operate and serve those who depend on us.
Our focus is simple: to build a more responsive, connected and accountable organisation that is better positioned to meet the needs of our members and stakeholders today and into the future.
What does self-administration mean?
Self-administration means that Sizwe Hosmed will take greater ownership of the administration and operational processes that support the Scheme.
For our members, our commitment remains unchanged. We remain focused on supporting your healthcare journey and ensuring that you have access to the information, assistance and support you need.
For our stakeholders, we are committed to maintaining open communication, strengthening our partnerships and providing relevant information as the transition progresses.
What will remain the same?
Our commitment to our members and stakeholders.
We remain focused on providing quality healthcare support, protecting the value of members’ contributions and continuously improving the way we serve you.
