- Guidance on oncology benefits and what is covered.
- Counselling for emotional and psychological support.
- Assistance with hospital authorisations for cancer-related admissions.
- Case Management
- Once registered, a dedicated Oncology Case Manager will assist you throughout your treatment journey.
- They will explain your benefits, help navigate the processes and offer ongoing support.
Who Qualifies
All Sizwe Hosmed members diagnosed with cancer. But they must register for the Oncology Programme.

Members are required to note the following:
- Use Network Oncologists
- Sizwe Hosmed uses a specialised Oncology Network to ensure members receive the highest quality care at the most affordable rates.
- Members are strongly encouraged to use oncologists within this Network to avoid co-payments.
- Always confirm with your oncologist whether they are part of the Oncology Management Programme Network.
- Oncology Limit
- The Oncology benefit limit is plan type dependent, with some plans offering only PMB level of care.
- Please refer to your benefit guide for additional information.

- Tier 3 Medication
- Tier 3 medication will only be reviewed for cover for those on the Titanium Executive option.
- The request will be subject to review by the Oncology Network Panel based on the clinical information provided in the Letter of Motivation received from the treating provider.
