Maternity Treatment Care Plan
Access to additional services during pregnancy, covered from your in-hospital benefit, including:
- 6 General Practitioner or Midwife consultations
- 4 Gynaecologist consultations
- Antenatal Pathology tests
- 2 Ultrasounds 2D scans
Who Qualifies
All eligible pregnant Sizwe Hosmed members qualify for maternity benefits, subject to a waiting period underwriting.
When to Register
- Register as early as possible – ideally as soon as your pregnancy is confirmed and before 32 weeks.
- Early registration allows a member to:
- Access all programme benefits funded from the Risk Benefit Pool
- Receive educational material and health advice throughout pregnancy
Important Notes:
Motivation is required for:
- Amniocentesis / Non-invasive Prenatal Test (NIPT)
- Scans after 32 weeks of pregnancy
- High Risk Pregnancy
